About Carbravo

What is CarBravo and how does it work?

There’s lots of questions about what CarBravo really is – is it a dealer? Can I buy from CarBravo online? At Baum Chevrolet Buick in Clinton, we have partnered with General Motors’ CarBravo used vehicle search and buying tool to make it easy to search for used cars online from a variety of makes.

CarBravo Certification vs. other used cars

You may already be familiar with the GM Certified Pre-Owned program, but the CarBravo Certification program is a separate program. The CarBravo certification offers a standard GM-backed limited warranty* for CarBravo and BravoBudget labeled vehicles – even those that are not GM models.

CarBravo-Labeled Vehicle Warrant
The warranty for CarBravo-labeled vehicles is a 6-month/6,000 miles Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty, whichever comes first. This is in addition to and begins upon the expiration of any remaining original factory warranty.

BravoBudget-Labled Vehicle Warranty
The warranty for BravoBudget-labeled vehicles is a 30-day/1,000-mile Powertrain Limited Warranty, whichever comes first.

For both CarBravo and BravoBudget coverages, the warranty booklet further explains the limited warranty eligibility and coverage details, including limitations and exclusions. For non-GM vehicles covered components vary from GM vehicles, please Baum Chevrolet Buick for component coverage details and full Terms and Conditions.*

CarBravo vs. BravoBudget Vehicle Age and Mileage Qualifications

Vehicles 10 model years old or newer with 100,000 miles or fewer can be CarBravo Certified. Some manufacturer and model exclusions apply.

Vehicles more than 10 model years old and/or have more than 100,000 miles but are fewer than 15 model years old and have fewer than 150,000 miles at time of sale can be BravoBudget Certified.

Contact Baum Chevrolet Buick for all the details.

How can I check vehicle history on CarBravo cars?

All CarBravo vehicles feature a CARFAX vehicle history report. Each vehicle listing also includes a full, downloadable inspection report.

BravoCare Extras

BravoCare is a suite of optional coverage options with great benefits. Limited Warranties and vehicle service contracts are different, and it’s important to understand the differences when shopping for the right plan.

BravoCare optional additional coverage options are beyond the limited warranty,* and include options like pre-paid maintenance, tire and wheel protection, and GAP Coverage. See all terms and conditions of the BravoCare optional programs on the CarBravo website.

Can I exchange my CarBravo car?

Carbravo allows you to bring your Carbravo certified used vehicle back within 10 days or 500 miles (whichever comes first) and exchange it for a different one. Limitations apply – see dealer for details.

Can I trade my current car, and finance the new CarBravo car?

CarBravo financing can be done online or in-person. The CarBravo online tools allow shoppers to see estimated cash or financing information.

Trade-ins are also welcome. The CarBravo tool uses basic vehicle information to estimate your trade-in value, right from home.

Are there other perks for buying through CarBravo?
