Farmer City Heritage Days is a festival held the first weekend of June in Farmer City, Illinois. Established in 2012 to celebrate the city’s 175th anniversary, the event has evolved into a cherished community tradition, offering a blend of entertainment and family-friendly activities.
The 2025 festival, held May 29, 30 & 31, featured live performances from musicians Cody Canada and The Departed, along with Drew Baldridge on the Baum Chevrolet Buick stage. There was also a rodeo nightly from T&A Bucking Bulls prior to the concert.
Baum Motor Company in Farmer City was a sponsor of the classic car show and cruise, allowing visitors to admire vintage vehicles and connect with fellow car aficionados.
Throughout the weekend, attendees enjoyed a variety of food and craft vendors. Zeiler Amusements of Peoria, IL, provided the carnival, and Portillo’s (with locations in Bloomington-Normal, IL, and Champaign, IL) sponsored a Kid’s Zone with free activities for children, ensuring fun for all ages.
Farmer City Heritage Days thrives thanks to the dedication of local volunteers and community organizations. From event organization to vendor participation, the festival is a testament to the town’s collaborative spirit.
Whether you’re a local resident or visiting from afar, Farmer City Heritage Days offered a welcoming atmosphere filled with entertainment, community pride, and memorable experiences!
Set your calendars for 2026 now!
